How can I claim these EV charging rebates?
For a limited time starting January 2023, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is offering its next round of funding under its Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP).
Geared towards supporting the establishment of a coast-to-coast network of level 2 and DC fast chargers for electric vehicles, this EV charging grant will fund fifty percent (50%) of total project costs up to a maximum of five million dollars ($5,000,000) per project.
The current electric vehicle charging funding targets the following ZEV infrastructure project types for level 2 chargers and DC fast charging stations:
- Public
- On-Street
- Workplaces
- Multi-Unit Residential Buildings (MURBs)
- Fleets
